Welcome to the Remington SIFE Web Page. Here we will introduce you to SIFE and tell you what SIFE is
all about. Feel free to join us at one of our meetings held every Tuesdays at 12:15 in room 300A. Every one is welcomed!
Remington SIFE was founded by former Sam Walton Fellow Randy Glass back in 2002 and since than has
placed 2nd runner up in two regional competions and first place in the 2 year division at the Kansas City regionals.
SIFE at Remington was inactive for about a year in 2004. But in 2005 two SIFE team members speard headed a SIFE come
back at Remington College. Former SIFE president Mike Denno and curent vice president Preeda Kodani met every Wedsday
to plan out a way to get SIFE back at Remington. The plan was to continue an exsisting SIFE project which was a school
news paper. The paper brought in two new members Jed Decany and Diane Sadler. From there SIFE Remington grew to about five
active members and three dedicated Sam Walton fellows. Today SIFE Remington has about 10 active members and a few
new members. We are alaways looking for more members, so feel free to join us and share in the fun and fellowship that
is SIFE Remington.
Every one can make a difference in themselfs and in their community. It all starts with us. Were all in school
to learn a skill or a trade, wouldn't it be nice if we could use what we learned in school to better not just ourselfs but
those aound us. That is what SIFE is all about. Making a difference!!
